The final ten overs yielded 143 runs, and in the last five, Islamabad massacred 92. Azam was unstoppable in the latter stages of his knock, and it appeared that every ball he batted would go for six. He dispatched Hasnain, Naseem Shah, and Odean Smith, leaving no one standing.
It’s a shame he didn’t make it to 100. Quetta was in the game at the midway point but had completely lost their bearings owing to Azam’s attack. Asif Ali made a few impressive shots, but Azam was the show’s star.
All the key batsmen were able to score. Now, Quetta was about to face a mountain of 221 runs.

The little optimism they had was dashed by three fast wickets in the powerplay by Guptill, Roy, and Will Smeed.
Mohammad Hafeez showed determination with several huge shots, and skipper Sarfaraz also chipped in. The objective was too high, and timely wickets ended the struggle.
Ifthikar thrilled the audience with a few sixes near the end, but the game was over. Islamabad United won by 63 runs, thanks to three wickets each from Farooqi and Hasan Ali and two from spinners Shadab and Abrar.
Earlier, Azam Khan took the spotlight with 97 off 42 to give his team a massive total of 220, and Asif Ali contributed a quick 42 out of 24 deliveries.
