The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) were dealt an unexpected setback when they announced the resignation of their acclaimed assistant coach, Vijay Dahiya, on January 1, just before the start of the IPL 2024 season. Dahiya, a former India wicketkeeper, had been a key member of the Super Giants’ support staff from the team’s creation in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Gambhir departed Lucknow earlier this year, and now Dahiya is also leaving. He sent his best wishes to the club for the forthcoming season. This departure occurred after LSG made significant changes to their coaching staff, hiring Australian Justin Langer as head coach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The decision to part ways with previous head coach Andy Flower signalled a shift in the Lucknow Super Giants’ coaching staff. Flower’s stint with LSG ended after the IPL 2023 season, in which LSG performed admirably, making the playoffs in 2022 and 2023 and establishing a strong start in the IPL.<\/p>\n\n\n\nChanges in team management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
