1st Innings
- Gujarat finished with 201 thanks to a superb bat effort.
- The RCB bowlers are getting pummeled again.
- Sophia Dunkley ripped them apart on the powerplay, racing to fifty off only 18 balls.
- Dunkley was removed, and Harleen Deol took over, displaying her brilliance as she superbly struck the ball inching closer to a hit of 67 off 45 deliveries.
- The pitch is decent, and the boundaries are small, but this will require some running, particularly for a nervous squad.
2nd Innings
- Gujarat Giants captured their first WPL victory, although they were given quite a fright tonight.
- RCB lost Mandhana early on, but Sophie Devine and Ellyse Perry formed a solid connection.
- The earlier demonstrated her raw strength, walloping a few sixes on her way to her first WPL fifty.
- Perry was on track for a massive score before cutting one towards a backward point in the 12th over.
- Gujarat gained timely wickets after that to maintain its lead in the match.
- Ashleigh Gardner finished the game with two wickets in her final two overs.
- In the end, RCB got huge smashes from Heather Knight and Shreyanka Patil, but it was too late. RCB suffers yet another defeat.
