More players have signed up for the PSL 9 draft than you think. Daily, we cover the news of foreign players signing up for the draft on 13 December 2023. It just happens to be that 485 foreign players have signed up for the PSL drafts from 22 countries.
46 players are in the platinum category, while 76 are in the diamond category.
Each team can only have a limited number of international players in their teams. Even the international players know the level of competition to get into a PSL franchise.

Surprisingly, the list has few well-known Australian players. Fans are puzzled about why these athletes opted not to participate this time. There are 20 registered players in the elite “platinum” category, with England having a prominent representation. The deadline is here and now the registration has stopped. The PSL franchises have to announce the retention lists tomorrow. They will have to choose from these 485 players for the foreign players category.

English players are becoming more critical in the PSL. The PSL draft will occur on December 13, 2023, at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. Fans are keen to see how clubs will shape up for the next season.
PSL 9 is tentatively scheduled for February 8 and March 24, 2024. Cricket fans worldwide should mark their calendars for weeks of exciting matches involving top players.
So far, players like Tom Kohler Cadmore, Rahmadullah Gurbaz, Colin Munro, Alex Hales, Mujeeb-ur-Rahman, David Wiese, Shakib Al Hasan, and Sikandar Raza are among the top names who have registered themselves for the PSL drafts.
This season will get a lot more exciting. The franchise has already traded the top Pakistan players even before the drafts. This tells you the hype this year’s PSL has. Unfortunately, we may not see initial matches in Pakistan if general elections happen there. Nonetheless, PSL has, and will always be the best T20 league entertaining the watchers.
