Are you an avid cricket fan but cannot afford the ticket prices because you are a student? Well, don’t worry. Mr. Najam Sethi has announced that students will be able o enjoy the HBL PSL 9 matches at a discounted price.
Due to the rising cost of living, it is hard for people to afford a 650 PKR ticket, the minimum price set by the PCB. Want to hear more details about this? Keep reading because this is awesome for schools and college children.
Discounted ticket prices for students – HBL PSL 8
Due to rising inflation, it is hard for the people of Pakistan to survive in their daily lives. When ticket prices have increased, it has become impossible to enjoy PSL matches on the ground. Now imagine you are a student and a cricket freak simultaneously. Not a good combination if we consider the inflation these days.
The PSL 9 Schedule is also updated.
Do not worry, as Najam Sethi has announced a discount price for students. Now, students will get a 50% off on all the tickets.
Reports claim that students aged below 18 years old will get a discounted price. They will play half the actual price for all the tickets.
Eventually, the PCB confirmed in a notification that the concession applied to all games and that one ticket may be purchased on a B-Form. To get into the stadium, each kid must carry their B-Form, on which they purchased the ticket.
In a sweet conversation with young kids outside the national stadium Karachi, children demanded from the chairman that they should get to see the matches free of cost. Mr Sethi playfully said that the prices aren’t that high. The children said they should allow kids below 16 to watch the games for free. The chairman of PCB assured them that he would look into this matter and offer a 50% discount, as he cannot offer the tickets free of cost.
This is such a kind gesture from Najam Sethi. Now, students can watch PSL games free of cost. But they must bring a B-form that will prove they are under 18. They will get a discounted price. We hope these children will enjoy this vibrant cricket festival without worrying too much about the rising cost of the tickets. This will also distract from all the stress due to worsening conditions in the country.
