Lahore Qalandars HBL PSL 8 Campaign

The Qalandars will start their campaign with the tournament opener in a match against Multan Sultans in Multan cricket stadium. Hence, the first match will be played on 13 February 2023.

They will get to play most of their matches on their home ground. This will be very advantageous for them as the support from Lahoris will be ballistic.

Qalandars are the defending champions this year. They have some of the best players in their squad. The captain Shaheen Shah Afridi started the rehabilitation process before PSL 8. If things go right, he will destroy the batting lineups with his inswingers from over the wicket.

Other players from Lahore Qalandars will surely be impactful. Rashid khan will turn the ball and deceive the batsmen on these turning pitches. His googly is unreadable. That is why he will be a wicket-taking option for the qalandars.

Their group matches will end on 12 March in the desi version of El Clásico against Karachi Kings.
