Well, who saw that coming? The finale for season 8 has been shifted to 18 March 2023. Before, the chairman of PCB Najam Sethi tweeted that the tournament finale might be shifted to 23 March 2023. But we never knew that he would shift the final to a day earlier. If you are worried about your tickets, then do not worry. Those same tickets for 19 March will work here.
This is a surprise, not going to lie. But this is something shocking as well. We were all looking forward to 23 March but Mr Sethi surprised us with the 18 March date.

Why it is shifted to a day earlier?
After a review of the weather prediction for the next few days, the Pakistan Cricket Board has opted to conduct the HBL PSL 8 final on Saturday, March 18, at the Gaddafi Stadium, with Sunday and Monday designated as backup days. The finale was originally planned for Sunday, March 19, in Lahore.
Our main tournament is the HBL PSL 8. All the teams aspire and train all year not just to participate in the finals but to hoist the Supernova Trophy, whereas the ardent cricket fans also wait impatiently to watch their beloved team being recognized as the winner.
As a result, and based on existing information concerning adverse weather forecasts, PCB believes it is prudent and proactive to use the off-day and play the final on Saturday, with Sunday and Monday serving as reserve days. Instead of the typical one-day, PCB had two backup days in the event the game cannot be finished or contested on Saturday.
