Earlier this week, we told you how Robin Uthappa rated Tilak Varma relatively high. This time, another news emerged that Tilak Varma is being considered over Shreyas Iyer. This is because Sheryas is not fit entirely. As Tilak showcased his talent in recent tour to West Indies, he seems to be the best choice after Iyer.

Fans were confused as to why Varma was being considered. It is not that India had any spots open for Varma’s role in the team. But things are much more precise as we discovered that Iyer is not 100% fit.

Varma is yet to make an ODI appearance for India. But if we look at his List A stats, he is a valuable batting all-rounder.
