Capri Global is the club’s owner. Jon Lewis will coach the squad, while Alyssa Healy will captain it. Their roster was assembled at the first WPL player bidding in February 2024. This is the squad that the team management has put together. It’s a pretty balanced squad if you ask me. There are three specialist batters, two wicketkeepers, and four specialist bowlers; the rest are all-rounders. The Warriors have a lot of options to choose from.

Captain
Alyssa Healy of Australia will head WPL squad UP Warriorz in the tournament’s maiden edition, which begins March 4. Healy is one of Warriorz’s six foreign players and was selected captain over Deepti Sharma, who is from Uttar Pradesh.
Healy has won numerous T20 World Cups and the ODI World Cup this past year in New Zealand. She has 2446 T20I runs at a strike rate of over 128 and one hundred and 14 half-centuries to her name. Healy recently captained Australia’s T20I team in India while usual skipper Meg Lanning was absent. Healy has also led the Sydney Sixers in the Women’s Basketball League. They have a skipper who knows how to play basketball. I wonder how that will play out during the WPL.

Owners
Capri Global Holdings Pvt. Ltd. owns UP Warriorz. They paid 757 crores for the rights of the team’s bidding in January. Capri Loans is now one of India’s NBFC businesses. They are not strangers to the cricket industry, as they attempted to acquire a franchise in the IPL two years prior but were unsuccessful. They later received Sharjah Warriors of the UAE’s International League T20. The ICC World Cup 2023 Schedule PDF is also updated.

Conclusion
They are pretty much a balanced squad. I must say that with Healy as their captain, the Warriorz is bound to be the best in the first season of WPL. While the Capri Globa couldn’t win the rights for IPL title sponsorship, they have their chance at WPL. Let’s see how this team plays in this tournament.
