IPL season is about to start for the 17th time. This means the franchises have to get up and set their playing 11 straight before the auctions start on 19 December 2023. They have retained about 173 players while releasing some. In this article, we will go team by team and see which players have been retained and which ones have been released by the franchises. So, let’s begin.

List of all the retained players

Previously, we gave you a list of all the released players. If you haven’t read that article, you can check it out by clicking the link at the end of this paragraph. Some players like Ben Stokes decided not to play IPL this year, increasing the concerns of their respective teams. At the same time, some players like Sam Curran were released because their previous price wasn’t justified. Here, we will see those players that franchises decide to keep for IPL 2024.

Mumbai Indians

Starting with the team that has the most titles so far. Bumrah and Rohit Sharma are among the star players of this squad.

These were all the players that the teams kept for IPL 2024. Some decisions were quite surprising. Meanwhile, the others, like MSD, continue for CSK, making fans much happier.
