Performance in the National T20 Cup is crucial

PSL 2024 is about to begin, and franchises are gearing up to prepare for another year of cricket. And the draft will start after this year’s National T20 Cup.

However, they also need to assess the form of local players in this year’s draft. And for that, PCB has set the date of the drafts to be after the national T20 Cup. As soon as the National T20 Cup ends, the franchise will better understand the local players they will pick from. That is why the top employee of PCB’s domestic cricket affairs, Junaid Zia, has emphasized the importance of this tournament for PSL. He has pointed out that players have to perform in this tournament to have a shot at PSL.

If any player from the domestic circuit wants to play for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2024, they will have to perform in PSL. And if they want to have a shot at the PSL, the National T20 Cup is their shot.
