WPL Auction Date Announced
Prepare for some cricket action as the Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction for the 2024 season begins! The big day will take place on December 9 in Mumbai, when clubs will compete to choose the top athletes for their squads.
What makes it even more exciting is that each team receives an additional INR 1.5 crore to spend on top of what they received from the previous auction and player releases.

This auction has 30 places available, including nine for international players. Teams have been strategizing their movements since it is possible to assemble some super-strong squads with 60 players already retained and 29 released.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not revealed the dates or if the event will take place in many locations or just one. The tension is rising, and everyone is waiting to see how it plays out.
