1st Innings Highlights

  • The Delhi Caps have put forth an outstanding batting effort. They have surpassed Mumbai Indians’ score from yesterday, bringing their total to 200+ in both games.
  • Challengers Royals The DC openers, Shafali and Lanning, exploited Bangalore’s rookie bowling attack.
  • They began by taking on Schutt in the early over and were unstoppable.
  • They hit a maximum in every over save the first, demonstrating their superiority.
  • Shafali and Lanning completed a 150-plus stand, laying the groundwork for a massive score.
  • Kapp and Jemimah took advantage of that start, smashing 60 off the final 31 balls.
  • This is a big sum, and RCB would be lucky to even come close to it.

2nd Innings Highlights

  • The Delhi Capitals have won convincingly.
  • They had played Royal Challengers Bangalore out of the match, and all that remained was for their bowling to retain their composure.
  • Smriti and Devine set RCB off to a fast start, but with the required rate always above 11, they couldn’t keep up and were accounted for by Capsey.
  • Perry kept the scorecard humming, but she was the first to go in which RCB lost 5 wickets for 7 runs, with Tara Norris the main wrecker.
  • Knight and Schutt established a 50-run stand to keep the margin of loss manageable.

Player of the match

It was shocking how Shefali didn’t get the player of the match award. But Tara Norris deserves this as well. She got the player of the match award for her brilliant bowling figures of 5-29
