Even the PCB chairman came out and said that he would review the current roster. Media asked some questions from the ex-skipper, and he had much to say. Let’s listen.

Misbah said in the interview that he was worried as his point of view wasn’t even asked for these matters. He also has reservations and wants the key players from each format to be at the top of the central contract list.
“I also have concerns about this. They decided previously with the team management. We also can’t understand this decision and there is no input from us,”
Misbah was quite clear when he set the record straight. He said any questions regarding the central contract and team selection should be directed towards the concerned person as he didn’t have anything to do with these matters.
It is important to note that Misbah was one of the most successful test captains in the history of Pakistan cricket. He won the World Test Championship for the first time and is the only Pakistani captain to have that trophy.
Of course, he knows this current team’s mechanics and the importance of a player’s financial stability. Hence, it is understandable if he was concerned about the central contract.
