Buttler is eyeing a win against Pakistan

The England captain, Jos Buttler is eying for a comfortable win against Pakistan on 11 November 2023. The match is crucial for both teams. Pakistan wants to win it to have hopes of securing the number 4 spot in the points table. While England wants to qualify for the Champions Trophy 2025 by being in the top 8 on the table.

England finally won their second match in the tournament against the Netherlands. They couldn’t win even a single match since their win against Bangladesh. However, the team has finally got back some momentum since their 160-run win against the Bengal Tigers.

Captain Jos Buttler admitted that the team hasn’t been able to perform the way they wanted to. However, he also claimed that the players have been training as hard as ever, and want to leave India with a proper performance.

“We haven’t performed the way we wanted to this whole trip and we’d like to leave India putting in a proper performance”

He understands the importance of this game, and the team wants to win this match if they want to qualify for the champions trophy.

We also have to keep in mind that Pakistan will put all their efforts on 11 November since they want to win this match to even have the hope of qualifying in the semi-finals.

Will England win this match? Or will Pakistan be able to give England one last hurt before they exit their disappointing world cup campaign? Only the time will tell.
