What a match it was! Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans faced off against each other on 26 February 2023. And Karachi finally broke Sultan’s winnings streak on their home ground. This time, they hosted the Sultans at the National Stadium Karachi and beat the Multanis by a big margin of 66 runs. What a bowling show it was from Karachi. They bowled out their opposition for 101 runs. Seems like the missing link in Karachi’s team was a spinner like Tabraiz Shamsi. Let’s talk about the match highlights here.

He also scored a rapid fifty, whilst Wade played a shaky knock before being removed in the 19th over.
Ihsanullah continued to be effective with the ball, limiting the opponents even in the last overs. Multan Sultans have an excellent hitting lineup. Let’s see how they chase this score.

Karachi’s spinners weaved a web around Multan, keeping them in the postseason race. The surface favoured slow bowlers, and Karachi’s spin trio was outstanding. Malik, Imad, and Shamsi bowled a combined total of 11.3-0-68-8.
Multan got off to a good start thanks to Rizwan and Masood, but after they were fired, there was no fight from the rest of the team.
None of the hitters could handle the whirling ball, and a handful received unplayable pitches. The table toppers surrendered in defeat, ending their four-match unbeaten run.
