TARGET | 119 RUNS in 20 overs |
- The Quetta Gladiators had a disappointing batting performance.
- They got off to a strong start, finishing the powerplay with a score of 53/1.
- However, as the field expanded and the ball softened, rotating strikes became more difficult, and the boundaries stopped.
- None of the batters were able to utilize themselves and bat long; they kept avoiding the big shot, resulting in a lower-than-average total.
- The surface is two-paced, with plenty of turn for the spinners, which Hasan Ali and his teammates took full use of.
- The target is not a large one. Obviously, Karachi is going to win.

Tim Seifert 49 (31) | Abrar Ahmed 1-24 |

RESULT | Sultans won by 7 wickets |
- The chase was never in question.
- The Karachi Kings won by seven wickets with 27 balls remaining.
- Masood led early, but the foreign duo of Vince and Seifert contributed a 50+ partnership to keep the pursuit on pace.
- After the partnership ended, Malik stepped out and kept things calm; he rotated the attack and played the huge hit only once the target was within sight.
- Seifert botched a fifty but had put the Kings on the verge of victory. Quetta Gladiators battled hard and bowled a lot of spin, but they couldn’t match the Kings’ total. A much-needed victory for the Karachi Kings.
Man of the match
Hasan Ali won the award for his amazing bowling skills against the Gladiators. This was not easy since Quetta is one of the top contenders for the Orion trophy.
