- Both Quetta openers, Jason Roy and Saud Shakeel, got going fast, scoring 70 runs in the opening six overs.
- What a terrific powerplay it was, with the openers dominating all bowlers. Even when the powerplay was over, Roy and Shakeel continued to trade in limits, quickly reaching their fifties.
- Shakeel was knocked in the 16th over after Babar Azam made a great catch at mid-on, racing across from mid-off, and Jason Roy was dismissed in the 18th over after a fantastic catch by Saim Ayub at deep mid-wicket.
- The hitters that came afterwards played roles as Quetta finished with 206. Irshad was the standout of the bowlers, taking three wickets.

- Babar Azam scored a fifty in 29 balls, but the Quetta bowlers slowed the pace in the second part of the game.

Man of the match
Saud Shakeel as won the man of the match award. This is a great comeback from him. Saud has the chance to redeem himself and show his critics that he can bat in the shorter format of the game as well.
