For some fans, it was shocking to see Alex Hales and Colin Munro in the Gold category. They didn’t oppose player retention. However, they were against the idea of keeping these players in this high category. Fans argued that these players are getting old and young blood should be encouraged in the higher categories.

Shadab Khan will be retained, while they got Imad Wasim for Hasan Ali. But the best trade they did so far was Naseem Shah. He will be a valuable addition to their pace bowling attack, while Imad contains runs in the middle overs.

Concluding remarks

So far, the team looks pretty good. They have a mix of all-rounders and bowlers. However, ISLU will need more batters on 13 December. So you can expect them to pick some exciting batting talent in the upcoming draft.

They have Azam, Munro, and Hales for now. But the T20 format needs a lot of batting depth. Let’s see what they can do in the PSL 9 drafts. Stay tuned and turn on the notifications to learn more about PSL 2024 and other T20 leagues.

Let’s see what happens.
