Will Mohammad Amir not play for Karachi Kings?

HBL PSL just saw one of the biggest trades so far, with Imad Wasim going to Islamabad and Hasan Ali coming to Karachi Kings. Now, there are rumours that the Kings may lose another player. The talk in the town is that Mohammad Amir will leave Karachi Kings and join Quetta Gladiators for season 9. The drafts are set to happen on 13 December 2023.

Mohammad Amir will be an asset to any team he is a part of. The veteran fast bowler has focused on T20 leagues since he retired from international cricket three years ago. In his T20 career, Amir has played 259 matches with 303 wickets. In addition, he has an economy rate of 7.11, which is quite impressive for a T20 bowler.

Amir has been a part of Karachi Kings of far, not playing for any other franchise in the Pakistan Super League. But the rumours are that Amir will part ways with the team now.

You have already heard about Imad Wasim being traded off to Islamabad United. But Karachi Kings has gotten Hasan Ali in their squad now. This adds the extra flare to their bowling attack in case Amir leaves.

Also, there is news that they might trade Shan Masood from Multan Sultans and appoint him as their captain for HBL PSL 9.
