Lahore Qalandars have finally replaced Rashid Khan. They have replaced him with George Linde, a South African allrounder. Rashid Khan was unable to join Lahore due to his back injury. Now, Lahore Qalandars have replaced him with this South African allrounder.

George Linde can fulfil the role that Rashid has left behind. He is a left-arm spinner who can contain the opposing batters in the middle overs. This was something that the Qalandars had been missing ever since Rashid left their ranks.

Shaheen and the other fast bowlers can only do so much with the first powerplay and the deathovers. The increased burden was affecting their performance.

Hopefully, with Linde in the mix, they can hand over that role to him. The South African allrounder has played his fair share in the T20 leagues. Following is his record in this format.

Matches168
Runs 1698
Average18
Strike rate133
Wickets153
Economy rate7.49

As you can see, George Linde is a good replaced for Rashid. He can’t completely replace him in the game. However, this guy knows his stuff. Surely, Lahore Qalandars is a bit stronger with him in the team.
